This page explains how FitMyTank intends to treat affiliate links. The current version of the site may not yet contain active affiliate links.

Current Status

FitMyTank does not currently claim any retailer or brand affiliation. Recommended product categories on the site are planning previews, not advertisements. If you do not see a clearly marked affiliate link, no affiliate relationship should be assumed.

Future Affiliate Links

FitMyTank may contain affiliate links in the future. Following or purchasing through such a link may result in FitMyTank receiving a commission.

That commission would not increase the visitor's price unless a merchant states otherwise. Future affiliate links must be clearly disclosed and should use appropriate sponsored attributes such as rel="sponsored nofollow".

Calculator Independence

Affiliate relationships do not alter calculator logic, stocking capacity, compatibility, care requirements, or whether an item is essential versus optional. Stocking checks remain based on stored species data and the analysis rules of the tool.
